Uh oh. Are we going to see storm activity soon in the States?!

NOAA NWS National Hurricane Center: The government of Jamaica has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for that island nation. That means tropical storm conditions are expected somewhere in the warning area within 36 hours. At midday Saturday, Tropical Storm Ernesto was centered almost 600 miles east-southeast of Kingston, Jamaica, moving to the west-northwest. On the forecast track, the center of Ernesto should pass south of Jamaica on Sunday evening and then move over the northwest Caribbean Sea. A USAF hurricane hunter aircraft found maximum sustained winds of 50 mph. No significant change in strength is expected today, but intensifcation is possible on Sunday. Ernesto could become a hurricane over the northwest Caribbean Sea in a day or two.
