We traded in our last economy car when we had our first baby (who is about to turn 5!) for our current gas guzzler, because the car seat wouldn't fit in the smaller car with bucket leather seats (that had built in heaters sigh.) Now the big 4 wheel drive "safety" vehicle that we traded up for is no longer practical. Gas was a lot cheaper 5 years ago. Sure it was nice to drive in the snow and ice storms that we rarely see, and having the trailer hitch came in handy big time on our recent move, but it was time to downsize and ECONOMIZE while we can and before the prices of economy cars skyrocket like they did a few years back when the hurricane hit the Houston oil refineries and gas was impossible to find in Atlanta and went up to almost $5 a gallon. So today I traded in my car. So long 4 wheel drive with trailer hitch. I'll miss you but I won't miss the $ filling up. Our replacement will get twice the fuel economy. Sure it won't be as powerful on the road, but I will just avoid driving during rain and ice storms, at night during rush hour, on drinking holidays, when daylight saving time changes, and on full moons tee hee. Oh and we will ALWAYS wear seatbelts!
Blame Iran And China For Rising Gas Price???
Gas Prices Going Up No Matter What Happens In Iran???
Gas Prices Going Up, Up & Away!!!???
Gas Prices Are Not Going Up, The Dollar Is Falling!!!! (EK!)
