"It has been brought to my attention that there was incorrect usage of a coupon in my episode of TLC’s Extreme Couponing that aired on April 20, 2011. I can assure you that it was unintentional. The coupon read “Save $3 on any one (1) bottle of Purex complete with Zout detergent or Purex Complete 3-in-1 Laundry sheets”. When I purchased the Purex from the store they had ALL of the Purex detergents at the same price point $6.49 buy one get one free. I at that point purchased 54 bottles of the detergent…some of each of the 3 kinds (not realizing that only the Zout one was included). It was an honest mistake and in the future I will be more diligent in reading the fine print. I take this mistake very seriously, and make every attempt to do everything in life ethically.

Actually Extreme Coupon Diva did own up to her mistake by stating:
"I received many comments this morning after views of this new video that were horribly rude and hurtful. Everything I learned about coupons I was told from a company called BeCentsAble and I moved forward with their instruction. While I appreciate the many comments on "fraud" and "you should be put in jail" I am doing exactly as BeCentsAble told me. Perhaps they should be contacted? I had no idea of the many dimensions of fraud and I apologize for misdirecting."
