I just realized that I've been couponing now for 2 years, and wow it has really become quite the hobby lol. So -- Happy Couponing Anniversary to me LOL! Wanna know how I got started in couponing? Well, one very average Sunday I decided to cut out every coupon in the paper and save a ton of money by taking my envelope full of coupons to Ingles. I basically bought a bunch of stuff I didn't need (lol) for around $34 dollars and I was so proud of myself (HAHAHAHA.) Let's just say that I've come a long way baby! Soon after that I shopped at Walgreens and got 4 Pert shampoos and 2
Elmo books with the overage and paid around .50 cents total. The rest is couponing history......

This is so funny that you mention that when you first started, you bought things just because you had a coupon. I used to do that too! I've been "real" couponing for about 1 year now although I've used coupons for longer. Happy Anniversary to us :)
