My fabulous friend, Amy, gave me the heads up on this little secret. There is a free paper in the front of some Publix stores called THE PAPER. Inside is the penny item coupon, so you don't even have to purchase a paper to get the penny item for free!!!
Yesterday I was able to get some Smart Balance milk free (we got a $2.50 regional coupon and because Smart Balance is 2 for $5 that = FREE!!!) and I was able to get the penny item (Publix hot dogs) FREE with the coupon inside the free paper!
