Went to Michaels @ ToysRUs for trick or treating

It took us a while to get out the door so we missed the Macy's 10 giftcard giveaway. My kids slept in for once in their lives so I wasn't about to get out of bed LOL!

Then my 1 year old pooped in his costume and was throwing temper tantrums for whatever reason so I wound up only taking my daughter.

Michael's activities were over by the time we arrived, but "Auntie Linda" made a bucket of goodies for my daughter which was really sweet. Linda said they had posted the "wrong" trick or treating hours on their webpage. My daughter's bucket had a bunch of craft things, 3 glow in the dark bracelets, a 3 x 3 magnet photo holder, and some candy.

ToysRUS was only doing the "parade" every other hour and they were out of everything but candy by the time we got over there, so that was kinda lame. Last year we got there right when it started and it took them over an hour to get everything set up so I didn't want to be waiting around this year. They did have 12 mo and under costumes on clearance for 3.80 to 7.80--cheap and high quality costumes. They already have Xmas clothes out on the floor.

Aww, Halloween just doesn't seem the same these days. Sorry yours turned out kinda lame. I was able to get the $10 Macy's card, but I was kinda dissappointed. It's only a $10 off $10 COUPON that expires Nov. 15th. It also has some restrictions. The way I read it, it was gonna be a $10 GIFTCARD which would have been better--no expiration or limits, but oh well, at least I got something :)

What did you get? That's awesome. I prob would have gotten a gift set of bubble bath and used it for my kids or a gift.

My boyfriend went with me, so we got 2 coupons. He used his for a shirt for his neice and an ornament. They were both around $9 each, so he spent about $10 OOP. Not the best deal, but he HAD to have that ornament and the total has to be $10 or over, so yeah. I still have mine--deciding on how to best use it
