Contacting companies for free stuff
It seems to be a trend in the deal seeking blogosphere to contact companies to get freebies. I can say that I have contacted 2 companies because I honestly LOVE their stuff. I wrote to Arizona Iced Teas and got 2 free ballcaps, and I wrote to Green Valley Steamers and got a free bag of veggies YUM! But again, I LOVE those products and use them regularly. I do think you should only contact those companies seeking freebies if you really like their stuff. (Think if we contact the state of Hawaii and the Superbowl people they'll send us free tickets hahaha yeah RIGHT!!)

I have done it too and recieved a few coupons for free things, and I did complain once b/c the Ragu I bought tasted sour and they sent me 2 free any size to replace it. It might be a PIA but its definately worth it.
