I opened a box of Apple Jacks for dd tonight, and it had expired in August!! Bad Target! Bad!!! And there was an expired coupon on the box for a free hotwheel diecast car on the box too. Ugh.

Cheap Leap Frog Tag reader and books @ Target if you are creative with coupons...

Target has the Leapfrog Tag Reader on sale right now for $39.99. ToysRUs has the reader for $39.99 all month long. Aldi's has it on sale this week for $36.99, so if you are near an Aldi's you can price match their price and then stack the Target $10 off coupon for the Tag Reader HERE with the $10 off manufacturer coupon HERE to get the reader for $16.99! To sweeten the deal, you can use a $10 off 50 Target coupon or a $5 off 50 depending on what you have. Those were reported to be on the back of the toy catalogs. Right now Target also has the Tag Jr. for $28.99 and there is no size restriction on those coupons, so you should be able to get a Tag Jr for 8.99 after coupons!! There are also $5 off Tag book coupons HERE. Meijer is reported to have the reader at $27.99 so if you have that store nearby definitely price match them!!! I also read that ToysRUs has the books for $7.99, so if you price-match that and then use the $5 manuf coupon you can get the books for just $2.99!!!

Trip to Publix to get the penny item...

They were out of everything that I wanted to get my total up to $10. No Tylenol, no Zantac, no packing tape....UGH. So I had to change my strategy. I got my free uncrustables, 2 greenworks cleaning stuff (.29 each with manuf coupons and flips), 4 coffeemate creamer for .11 each after coupons, and some muir glen tomato sauce .11 overage on each......all just to get some rolled oats for a penny LOL!!! My total was .72 plus tax.

Cheap/FREE Muir Glen tomato sauce @ Publix

There was a 1/1 any Muir Glen printable that I blogged about recently and there is a 1/1 in the Better at Home Booklet. The diced tomatoes that I love are 2 for $3, but you can get the 6 oz can of tomato paste for $1.09 before the coupons and the 8 oz can of tomato sauce is .89 so a little money maker there. The 6 oz can of tomato paste is $1.09, and the 8 oz can of tomato sauce is .89 cents. You can find Muir Glen items in the organic section. (The muir glen spaghetti sauce is bogo this week I believe.)

FYI (uh hem Publix) YES Muir Glen is a General Mill's item. The guy with his mouth wired shut didn't believe me LOL!
